Aaron L. Gilbert is the CEO of BRON, a company he co-founded with wife Brenda Gilbert in 2010. BRON is the award-winning producer and financier behind such films as Denzel Washington’s Oscar nominated FENCES, Jason Reitman’s TULLY with Charlize Theron, Miguel Arteta’s BEATRIZ AT DINNER, Dan Gilroy’s ROMAN J. ISRAEL, ESQ., and Nate Parker’s Sundance-winning film THE BIRTH OF A NATION. Upcoming releases include Sam Levinson’s ASSASSINATION NATION from NEON on September 21, Debra Granik’s LEAVE NO TRACE from Bleecker Street on June 29, and Hugh Jackman starrer THE FRONT RUNNER directed by Jason Reitman from Sony Pictures on November 7. Current projects include Bill Condon’s THE GOOD LIAR starring Helen Mirren and Ian McKellen, and John Ridley’s NEEDLE IN A TIMESTACK, starring Leslie Odom Jr., Cynthia Eriva, Frieda Pinto, and Orlando Bloom; which are both currently in production. Anthony Mandler’s MONSTER, Jennifer Kent’s sophomore feature THE NIGHTINGALE and Gideon Raff’s THE RED SEA DIVING RESORT starring Chris Evans, are all in post-production. Additional film projects recently wrapped include Josh Trank’s FONZO starring Tom Hardy, VILLAINS with Bill Skarsgård and Maika Monroe, and GREYHOUND starring Tom Hanks, to be distributed by Sony in February 2019. Gilbert has expanded BRON’s development arm into television and has formed key partnerships including a joint venture with former HBO executive Michael Ellenberg in Media Res which recently announced the series “The Morning Show” starring Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston for Apple.
